Tan Hui Chuan

Tan Hui Chuan hails from Malacca and is a graduate of the University of London. In July 1983, he was admitted as a barrister by Lincoln’s Inn. Tan Hui Chuan thereafter in May 1984 was admitted and enrolled as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
Tan Hui Chuan for nine (9) years was a law lecturer in various colleges and universities. He practised in a several law firms (including Messrs Nordin Hamid & Co, Messrs Khaw & Hussein) and in June 1988, he set up his sole practice in Kuala Lumpur. Hui Chuan is a court lawyer and also a conveyancing lawyer.
Tan Hui Chuan is an active community leader and the legal adviser to multiple clan associations, trade association and even sports association. Tan Hui Chuan was also once the Secretary of the Taman Tun Residents’ Association, a Board member of Damansara Chinese School. From June 2008 to February 2012, Tan Hui Chuan served as a Selangor state local councillor in Rawang.
In the field of litigation, Tan Hui Chuan handled criminal cases and is well versed with the criminal justice system in Malaysia. In the area of civil litigation, Tan Hui Chuan handled disputes concerning trust law, banking law, insolvency law, commercial law, family law as well as shipping law among others. Tan Hui Chuan was also counsel for corporate and land disputes.
In the area of conveyancing, Tan Hui Chuan is well versed in negotiating the terms for sales of property and drafting of agreements and wills.

Waheeda binti Md Yusoff

Waheeda Binti Md Yusoff is a holder of Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). In March 2006, Waheeda was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
Waheeda is both a litigator and a conveyancer. She has more than a decade’s experience handling conveyancing matters. She is well versed in contract law, the national land code and laws regulating land transactions.
Waheeda is counsel for both civil and criminal matters, in the latter she conducted selected criminal pro bono cases for the legal aid center. In civil litigation matters, she has experience in areas concerning of family law (divorce & adoption), trust law, wills & probate, land Acquisition. She has also held brief for appellate matters in both the high court and the court of appeal.
